How-to Guide
1. Restore a departed member
Feature entry: Admin Console > Directory > Organizational Structure > Departed Members > Restore
- Open the WPS365 client, and on the home page click Admin Console in the lower-left area.
- In the left-side list, click Directory.
- In the drop-down list, click Organizational Structure.
- Switch to the Departed Members page.
- Find the member you want to restore in the departed member list.
- Click the Restore button in the upper-right area of the page.
- In the pop-up window, select Confirm member restoration.
- Click OK to finish.
- After the account is restored, the member data returns to the corresponding account, handed-over data cannot be restored, and the member can sign in normally.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The target member is no longer left in the Departed Members list after the restore is completed.
- What you can do next: The member can sign in again with the corresponding account.
- No side effect: Data that was already handed over to another person does not return automatically.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you do not verify the member identity before restoring, you may restore the wrong account.
- Permission note: Only a super admin or an admin with directory management permission can perform this action.
- Data boundary: If document handover was completed before departure, that data does not automatically return after the account is restored.
