How-to Guide

1. Apply default organization visibility rules

Entry path: Admin Console → Enterprise Security Control → Organization Visibility Scope → Default Rules → Edit

  1. Open the WPS365 client and enter Admin Console from the lower-left area of the home page.
  2. In the left panel, click Security Control.
  3. Click Data Protection and then Organization Visibility Scope.
  4. Under Default Rules, click Edit.
  5. Choose the rule you want to apply:
    • Members can see everyone: enterprise members can view all members.
    • Members can see their department and sub-departments: enterprise members can view only members in their own department and sub-departments.
  6. If needed, enable the option that allows members to find hidden members through search.
  7. Click Save to apply the policy.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the default rules area shows the saved visibility policy.
  • Next action available: you can continue to add or adjust custom rules.

Tips While Using

2. Create custom organization visibility rules

Entry path: Organization Visibility Scope page → Custom Rules → Add

  1. Open the Organization Visibility Scope page.
  2. In the Custom Rules section, click Add.
  3. Enter a rule name.
  4. Set the target scope to All members or Selected members.
  5. Set whether these members make others visible or hidden.
  6. Click Save to make the rule take effect.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the new custom rule appears in the rule list.
  • Next action available: you can continue to edit, filter, or delete the rule.

3. Manage custom organization visibility rules

Entry path: Organization Visibility Scope page

  1. Open the Organization Visibility Scope page.
  2. Filter target rules by rule name, subject type, rule type, or other available conditions.
  3. Select the rule you want to manage.
  4. Click Delete or Batch Delete as needed.
  5. Confirm the action to finish rule management.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the target rule is removed from the list, or the filtered results display correctly.
  • Next action available: you can add more rules or run another filter.
