1. Sign in to the enterprise admin console

Entry point: WPS 365 enterprise admin console

  1. Open the WPS 365 enterprise admin console sign-in page on your Windows device.
  2. Sign in with a super administrator account or an account that has this permission.
  3. After you enter the home page, confirm that you can access document and team settings.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: You are signed in to the enterprise admin console.
  • Next action available: You can open the document and team settings area.

2. Enable default document encryption for new teams

Entry point: Admin console → Documents and Teams → Team Settings

  1. In the left navigation pane, click Documents and Teams.
  2. Click Team Settings.
  3. Find Document encryption enabled by default for new teams.
  4. Turn on the switch.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The switch shows as enabled.
  • Next action available: You can continue and save the current setting.

Tips While Using

  • Permission note: This is an enterprise administration setting.
  • Common mistake: If you open another team page instead of Team Settings, the switch may not appear.

3. Save the setting and verify it on a new team

  1. After turning on the switch, click Save.

  4. Check whether document encryption is enabled by default in the new team.
