How to Use WPS Gallery View on macOS

Entry: Table view area → + icon on the right side → Gallery View

  1. Open the target Bitable.
  2. Click the + icon on the right side of the table.
  3. Select Gallery View.
  4. After the new view is created, records appear in a card grid.
  • Interface result: A new gallery view tab or entry appears for the current table.
  • Next action available: You can continue to manage cards, review card content, or adjust filters and sorting.
  • Common mistake: If you are not inside the target Bitable, the add-view entry may not appear.
  • Environment note: A stable internet connection is recommended when loading records with images.

2. Set the card cover and cover effect

Entry: Gallery View → Card Management

  1. In the gallery view, click Card Management.
  2. Select the field to use as the card cover.
  3. Adjust the cover effect as needed.
  4. Return to the view and check the card display result.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: Card covers are displayed based on the selected field.
  • Next action available: You can continue browsing cards or reopen Card Management to adjust the effect.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the table does not contain an image field, cover display options may be limited.
  • Environment note: Large image files may take longer to load.

3. Open full record details from a card

Entry: Any record card in Gallery View

  1. Find the target card in the gallery view.
  2. Click the card.
  3. Review the full field information in the record details panel.
  4. Return to the gallery view when finished.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The selected card opens the corresponding record details successfully.
  • Next action available: You can continue reviewing fields, return to the view, or open another record.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If a card appears blank, confirm whether the record already contains an uploaded image.

4. Browse records with filters and sorting

Entry: Filter and sorting controls in Gallery View

  1. Open Gallery View.
  2. Set filter conditions based on the fields you need.
  3. Apply sorting by the selected field.
  4. Review the updated card list and locate the target records.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The card list updates according to the selected conditions.
  • Next action available: You can continue opening details or refine the filter and sorting settings.

  • Common mistake: Too many filter conditions may reduce the visible record count significantly.
