How-to Guide
1. Add a Field
Entry path: Bottom toolbar → Tools → Field Management
- Tap the Tools button on the bottom toolbar.
- In the pop-up window, select Field Management.
- Tap Add Field.
- Complete the field creation as needed.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The new field appears in the Field Management panel.
- Next action: You can continue configuring the field or return to the data table to enter data.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you do not open the Field Management panel first, you cannot add a field directly.
- Environment note: You need edit permission for the current data table.
2. Edit a Field
Entry path: Bottom toolbar → Tools → Field Management → Edit
- Tap the Tools button on the bottom toolbar.
- Select Field Management.
- Find the target field and tap the Edit button on its right side.
- Change the field name and field type.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The field name or field type is updated.
- Next action: You can continue adjusting other fields or return to the table to review the result.

- Common mistake: If you do not confirm the target field first, you may edit the wrong field.

3. Reorder Fields
Entry path: Bottom toolbar → Tools → Field Management → Drag field
- Tap the Tools button on the bottom toolbar.
- Select Field Management.
- Press and hold or drag the field title.
- Move the field left or right to the target position.
- Release it to finish reordering.
- After the order changes, collaborators will see the synced field order.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The target field appears in its new position.
- Next action: You can continue reordering other fields or return to the table to review the layout.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the drag distance is too short, the field position may not change.
- Environment note: In a collaborative table, the new order affects what other collaborators see.
4. Hide a Field
Entry path: Bottom toolbar → Tools → Field Management → Hide
- Tap the Tools button on the bottom toolbar.
- Select Field Management.
- Find the target field and tap the hide button on its right side.
- To show it again, tap the hide button again.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The target field is hidden from the current view or shown again.
- Next action: You can continue adjusting the visibility of other fields.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Do not confuse Hide with Delete. Hiding does not remove data.
- Environment note: Hiding only changes visibility. The data remains in the table.
