1. Create a Numbering Field
Entry path: + on the right side of the table header → Numbering field type
- In the data table, click the Add Field button on the right side of the header.
- In the field type list, select Numbering.
- Enter a field name.
- Click Confirm to create the field.
- Check the table to confirm that the new field is visible.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: A new numbering field column appears in the table.
- What you can do next: You can open field settings and continue adjusting numbering rules.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you choose the wrong field type, delete it and create the correct one again.

2. Configure the Numbering Type
Entry path: Right-click the field → Field Settings → Numbering Type
- Right-click the numbering field that you created.
- Select Field Settings.
- Open the Numbering Type drop-down menu in the settings panel.
- Select Auto-increment Number or Custom Concatenation.
- Save the settings and return to the table to review the result.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected numbering type is shown in field settings.
- What you can do next: When you add a new record, the number is generated with the selected rule.
