1. Create a Level Field

Entry: the + button on the right side of the header → Field Type dropdown → Level

  1. Click the + button on the right side of the header.
  2. Select Level in the field type list.
  3. Enter a field name.
  4. Click OK to finish.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: a new Level field column appears in the table.
  • Next action available: you can assign level values to records or open field settings.

Tips While Using

  • Use a field name that matches the business meaning for easier grouping later.
  • Make sure you have permission to edit the current multi-dimensional table.

2. Set the Number of Levels

Entry: right-click the Level field header → Field Settings → Number of Levels

  1. Right-click the Level field header.
  2. Select Field Settings.
  3. Choose the required value in the Number of Levels dropdown list.
  4. Set different colors for different levels as needed.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the number of levels is updated in the field settings panel.
  • Next action available: records can use the updated level options.

Tips While Using

  • Confirm your grading rules before changing the number of levels.
  • Keep colors easy to distinguish for faster recognition.

3. Review Records by Level

Entry: grouping in the multi-dimensional table → choose the Level field

  1. Open the multi-dimensional table you want to review.
  2. Turn on grouping.
  3. Choose the Level field as the grouping basis.
  4. Review the number and distribution of records under each level.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: records are displayed in groups by level.
  • Next action available: you can continue checking the detailed records in each group.

Tips While Using

  • Fill in level values before grouping to avoid blank groups.
  • Grouping is useful for distribution review and can be combined with other fields for further analysis.
