1. Create an Email Field
Entry: Click the + button on the right side of the table header → field type list → Email
- Open the Bitable you want to edit.
- Click the
+button on the right side of the table header. - In the field type list, select
Email. - Enter a field name.
- Click
OKto finish creating the field.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: a new Email field column appears in the table.
- Next action available: you can enter email addresses in cells under this column.
Tips While Using
- Use clear names such as
Contact Email, orPrimary Email.- You need edit permission for the current Bitable.
2. Enter an Email Address
Entry: Click the target cell → enter an email address
- Click a cell in the Email field column.
- Enter an email address, such as
example@wps.cn. - Wait for the format check. If the format is not valid, revise the address as prompted.
- Press Return to confirm the entry.
- After the address is saved, click it to open the default mail app on your Mac.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the saved email address appears in the cell.
- Next action available: clicking the address opens a new email composition flow.
Tips While Using
- If clicking the address does not open a mail app, check the default mail app setting in macOS.
- Format validation checks the address pattern, but business teams may still need to confirm whether the mailbox is active.
