1. Open the business field area
Entry: Click + to add a field → open the Field Type dropdown → find the Business Field area
- Open the multidimensional table you want to edit.
- Click the Add Field button in the table toolbar.
- Open the Field Type dropdown menu.
- Find the Business Field area in the list.

- Interface result: You can see the business field category area.

- You need edit permission for the current table.

2. Choose the field type you need
Entry: Business Field area → choose a specific field type
- Open the Business Field area.
- Review the available field types, such as currency, progress, rating, percentage, hyperlink, cascading options, phone, email, checkbox, and barcode.
- Click the field type you want to add.
- Finish creating the field and return to the table.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The new field appears as a column in the table.

3. Use common business field types by scenario
Entry: Business Field area → choose the field that matches the scenario
- For amount records, choose the Currency field.
- For completion tracking, choose the Progress or Percentage field.
- For website or cloud document addresses, choose the Hyperlink field.
- For contact details, choose the Phone or Email field.
- For yes-or-no status, choose the Checkbox field.
- For scannable identification, choose the Barcode field.

4. Change an existing field type
Entry: Existing field settings → change the field type
- Find the business field you already created in the table.
- Open the settings or type menu for that field.
- Select a new field type.
- Save the change and review how existing data is displayed.

Tips While Using
- Business fields can be changed to other field types after creation.
