1. Add a text component

Entry: Dashboard page → + Add ComponentOthersText

  1. Open the dashboard page.
  2. Click + Add Component in the upper-left area.
  3. In the component panel, find Text under Others.
  4. Click Text to insert a new text component automatically.
  5. Click the component to enter editing mode.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A new text component appears on the page.
  • Next action available: You can click into the component and start typing.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the page is not editable, you may not be able to add a new component.
  • Environment note: You need edit permission for the current dashboard.

2. Edit or delete a component

Entry: Click an existing text component → ... in the upper-right corner

  1. Click an existing text component in the dashboard.
  2. Click the ... icon in the upper-right corner of the component.
  3. Select Copy to duplicate the component.
  4. Select Delete to remove the component.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: After copying, a similar component appears; after deleting, the original component is removed.
  • Next action available: The copied component can still be edited, and the page layout can continue to be adjusted.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Confirm whether the content is still needed before deleting the component.
  • Environment note: Copy and delete actions usually require page editing permission.

3. Write content in a text component

Entry: Click inside the text component editing area

  1. Click inside the text component editing area to open the floating text toolbar.
  2. Enter the text you want to display.
  3. Use the heading option when you need a title.
  4. Adjust font size, bold, italic, underline, or strikethrough as needed.
  5. Set alignment based on the content structure, and insert emoji when helpful.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The entered text appears in the component with the selected formatting.
  • Next action available: You can continue editing the text, style, and layout.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Formatting buttons usually apply to selected text, so selecting text first is often more convenient.
  • Environment note: If the page area is small, resize the component before arranging the content.
