1. Add a Text Component

Entry point: Dashboard page → + Add Component → Other → Text

  1. Open the dashboard page and click + Add Component in the upper-left corner.
  2. In the component panel, find Text under the Other category.
  3. Click Text to create a new Text Component automatically.
  4. Click the new component to enter editing mode and type the content you want to display.

Success Criteria

  • UI state: A new Text Component area appears in the dashboard.
  • Next actions: You can type explanatory text right away or continue adjusting the content.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistakes: If the dashboard is not in editing mode, you may not see the add-component entry.
  • Environment limits: You need editing permission for the current dashboard.

2. Edit or Delete a Component

Entry point: Click an existing Text Component → the ... icon in the upper-right corner

  1. Click an existing Text Component in the dashboard.
  2. Click the ... icon in the upper-right corner of the component to open the menu.
  3. Select Copy to duplicate the current component.
  4. Select Delete to remove the component.

Success Criteria

  • UI state: After copying, a duplicate component appears. After deleting, the original component disappears from the page.
  • Next actions: The copied component can still be edited, and you can add a new one again after deletion.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistakes: Before deleting, confirm that you no longer need the original explanatory content.
  • Environment limits: If page permissions are limited, the available actions in the menu may also be limited.

3. Write Text Content

Entry point: Click the Text Component editing area

  1. Click the editing area of the Text Component to open the floating text toolbar.
  2. Type a heading, explanation, or note in the editing area.
  3. Use the floating toolbar as needed for Heading, Font Size, Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough, Alignment, and Emoji.
  4. After editing, click another area on the page and review the display result.

Success Criteria

  • UI state: The text appears in the component and formatting changes take effect immediately.
  • Next actions: You can continue editing text, adjust formatting, or combine it with other components for page layout.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistakes: If you do not click inside the editing area first, the floating toolbar may not appear.
  • Environment limits: For online pages, keep the network stable so edits can sync in time.
