How-to Guide
1. Add a countdown component
Entry: Dashboard interface → “+ Add Component” → Other → “Countdown”
- Open the dashboard interface.
- Click “+ Add Component” in the upper-left area.
- In the component panel, find “Countdown” under the “Other” category.
- Click the Countdown icon to create a new countdown component automatically.
- Click the component to enter edit mode and continue with setup.
Success Criteria
- A new countdown component appears on the dashboard.
- You can continue to edit its data and style settings.
Tips While Using
- If you are not in the dashboard interface, the add-component entry will not be available.
2. Use the component action menu
Entry: Click an added chart → “...” in the upper-right corner
- Click an existing countdown component on the dashboard.
- Click the “...” icon in the upper-right corner.
- Choose Configure, Copy, Copy as Image, Export as Image, or Delete as needed.
Success Criteria
- The component action menu opens successfully.
- You can run management actions such as reconfiguration, copying, exporting, or deletion.
Tips While Using
- If the component is not selected first, the action menu may not appear.
3. Set type and data
Entry: Countdown edit panel → “Type and Data” tab
- Open the edit panel for the countdown component.
- In the “Type and Data” tab, enter the description.
- Switch the counting method as needed, such as Custom Value or Select Field.
- Set the target date, time, and display unit.
- Review the preview on the left and click “OK” to apply the settings.
Success Criteria
- The preview area shows the updated countdown result.
- After you click “OK,” the component displays the new settings.
Tips While Using
- If you close the panel without clicking “OK,” your changes may not be applied.
4. Adjust chart style
Entry: Countdown edit panel → “Chart Style” tab
- Open the edit panel for the countdown component.
- Switch to the “Chart Style” tab.
- Set the time block color with a theme color or more color options.
- Set the description text color and number color.
- Preview the result and click “OK” to save it.
Success Criteria
- The countdown component updates with the new visual style.
- The saved style remains visible on the dashboard.
Tips While Using
- Check the preview after changing colors so the text remains easy to read.
