1. Insert a countdown from the Insert menu

Entry point: Insert tab → Countdown

  1. Place the cursor where you want to add the countdown.
  2. Click Insert on the toolbar.
  3. Select Countdown.
  4. In the settings panel, set the deadline and countdown duration.
  5. Confirm the settings to finish the insertion.

Success Criteria

  • A countdown block appears at the current cursor position.
  • The countdown shows the time information you set.
  • You can continue editing the rest of the document.

Tips While Using

  • Confirm the cursor position first so the countdown is inserted in the correct paragraph.
  • After insertion, you can click the countdown again to edit it.

2. Insert a countdown with the slash command

Entry point: paragraph input → /Countdown

  1. Type / in a paragraph to open the quick menu.
  2. Type 倒计时 or countdown.
  3. Select the countdown option from the results.
  4. Set the deadline and countdown duration as needed.
  5. Confirm to insert the block.

Success Criteria

  • The quick menu can find the countdown option.
  • A countdown block is inserted after you select it.
  • The countdown settings are saved normally.

Tips While Using

  • You can search with either the Chinese keyword 倒计时 or the English keyword countdown.
  • If the option does not appear, type / again and search once more.

3. Insert a countdown from the paragraph-plus handle

Entry point: left-side paragraph +Countdown

  1. Place the cursor where you want to insert the countdown.
  2. Click the + handle on the left side of the paragraph.
  3. Find Countdown in the menu.
  4. Set the deadline and countdown duration.
  5. Confirm to add the block.

Success Criteria

  • The left-side paragraph menu opens normally.
  • The countdown block is inserted successfully after selection.
  • The countdown appears near the current paragraph.

Tips While Using

  • This method is useful when you want to add a block near a blank or newly created paragraph.
  • If the page is crowded, click the target paragraph first and then open the handle menu.

4. Edit countdown settings

Entry point: click the countdown block → floating toolbar → Edit

  1. Click the inserted countdown block.
  2. Click Edit on the floating toolbar.
  3. Open the settings panel.
  4. Change the deadline or countdown duration.
  5. Confirm to save the update.

Success Criteria

  • The floating toolbar appears normally.
  • The countdown block shows the updated time settings.
  • Existing document content remains in place.

Tips While Using

  • Make sure you selected the correct countdown block before editing.
  • After updating, check whether the displayed time matches the current meeting or task plan.
