When using WPS Statistics, the most common issues fall into 3 areas: no result shown, understanding count types, and changes after switching views; this FAQ includes 3 common questions and a glossary.
FAQ
Why is no data shown after I click Statistics?
- Make sure that you are already in a data table view.
- Click the field statistics value in the bottom statistics bar.
- Select a calculation method from the drop-down menu instead of leaving it set to no display.
- Check whether the bottom status area now shows a result.
What is the difference between blank count and filled count?
- Blank count is used to count cells in the column that do not contain data.
- Filled count is used to count cells in the column that already contain data.
- Within the same filtered range, these two results help you judge data completeness quickly.
Why do the statistics results change after I switch views?
- Statistics are shown only for the data range in the current view.
- When you switch to another view, the displayed data set may change.
- To continue reviewing statistics, choose the calculation method again in the new view.
