1. Open the Comments tab from a record detail panel
Entry point: Kanban view → record detail panel → Comments tab
- Switch to Kanban view from the left navigation area.
- Click the record that you want to discuss.
- In the detail panel, open the Comments tab.
- Enter your comment in the input box.
- Press Enter or click Send to post it.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The comment appears in the comment list for the current record.
- Next action: You can continue replying, reviewing earlier comments, or close the detail panel.
Tips While Using
- Comments are visible to collaborators who can view the record.
- Before posting, confirm that you opened the correct record.
2. Add a comment by expanding a record from the right-click menu
Entry point: Kanban view → right-click a record → Expand Record → Comments tab
- Switch to Kanban view from the left navigation area.
- Right-click the target record.
- Select Expand Record to open the detail panel.
- Open the Comments tab.
- Enter your comment, then press Enter or click Send.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The detail panel opens and shows the comment area.
- Next action: After posting, you can continue reviewing other record details.
Tips While Using
- If the right-click menu does not appear, select the record again and retry.
- This path is useful when you want to open comments from the context menu.
3. Mention a teammate in a comment
Entry point: comment input box → @mention
- Open the Comments tab for the target record.
- Type your comment in the input box.
- Enter @ and start typing the teammate's name.
- Select the correct person from the suggestion list.
- Send the comment to complete the mention.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The posted comment shows the mentioned teammate.
- Next action: You can continue typing or mention more teammates in the same discussion.
Tips While Using
- Make sure the mentioned person is within the current collaboration scope.
- Posting comments and using @mentions typically requires a network connection.
4. Delete a posted comment
Entry point: comment more options menu → Delete
- Open the record detail panel that contains the target comment.
- Find the comment in the comment list.
- Click the ... menu in the upper-right area of the comment.
- Select Delete.
- Confirm that the comment is removed from the list.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected comment no longer appears in the comment list.
- Next action: You can continue posting new comments or reviewing other comments.
Tips While Using
- Deletion cannot be undone, so confirm before you remove a comment.
- It is a good idea to delete only comments that are no longer needed.
