1. Create a When Adding Record trigger
Entry path: Data table upper-right area → Automation → Create Blank Workflow → choose trigger type → When Adding Record
- Open the target data table in your multi-dimensional table.
- Click Automation near the upper-right area.
- Select Create Blank Workflow.
- In Step 1, choose When Adding Record from the trigger condition list.
- Confirm that the trigger settings panel appears on the right side with the trigger name and description.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The Trigger Settings panel appears on the right side.
- Next action available: You can continue selecting a data table and setting trigger conditions.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you are not in the automation workflow editor, the trigger type list will not appear.
- Environment note: You need normal access to the target multi-dimensional table.
2. Configure the trigger
Entry path: Trigger Settings panel → Select the data table where new records are added
- In Select the data table where new records are added, choose the target table.
- If needed, in And the following fields are not empty, choose the fields that must contain values when the trigger runs.
- If you need more trigger conditions, click + Add conditions that must also be met.
- In When a new record is added and the following conditions are met, click + Filter condition.
- Choose the field and condition, then enter the target value to finish the filter setup.
- Click Save and Enable in the upper-right area to finish creation.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The workflow is saved and enabled.
- Next action available: Future new records can trigger the workflow according to the configured conditions.
