WPS Sort on iOS FAQ

Last updated:July 20, 2026

When using WPS Sort on iOS, users often ask about 3 common topics: where new records appear, whether multi-column sorting is supported, and how sorting works with filters.

FAQ

Where do newly added records appear after sorting?

  1. After you add a new record, it appears at the end of the current list by default.
  2. If Always sort by the following rules is already enabled, the table reorders the record after saving.
  3. When you return to the data table, the new record appears in the position that matches the saved rules.

Can I sort by multiple columns at the same time?

  1. Open Filter on the bottom toolbar and go to Sort.
  2. Tap Add Sort Condition and set the first field.
  3. Continue adding other fields to sort by multiple conditions in priority order.

Can sorting and filtering be used together?

  1. Yes. You can set a filter first to narrow the visible range.
  2. Then open Sort and apply a sorting rule to the current result.
  3. Sorting and filtering can work together, and sorting changes display order only.
