1. Create a Field

Entry: Click the + button on the right side of the header, then choose Link This Table Field or Link Other Table Field

1. Click the + button on the right side of the header.
2. In the field type list, select Link This Table Field or Link Other Table Field.
3. Enter the field name.
4. Click OK to finish creating the field.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: The new linked field name appears in the table header.
• What you can do next: You can right-click the field title and continue to field settings.

Tips While Using

• Common mistake: Closing the window before confirming the field name prevents the field from being created.
• Environment note: Open an editable data table before starting.

2. Link Data Manually with a One-Way Relationship

Entry: Right-click the field title → Field Settings → choose the target data table

1. Right-click the field title and select Field Settings.
2. Select the target data table that you want to link.
3. Set the linking method to Manual Linking.
4. Adjust the record range and decide whether multiple linked records are allowed.
5. Click OK to save the settings.
6. Click inside a cell and choose the data that you want to link.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: The selected linked record appears in the cell.
• What you can do next: You can continue editing field settings or choose different linked data later.

Tips While Using

• Common mistake: If you do not choose the target data table first, the linking setup cannot be completed.

3. Set Automatic Matching for One-Way Linked Data

Entry: Right-click the field title → Field Settings → choose the target data table → Automatic Matching

1. Right-click the field title and select Field Settings.
2. Select the target data table that you want to link.
3. Set the linking method to Automatic Matching.
4. Configure the matching conditions.
5. Click OK to save the settings.
6. Records that meet the conditions are linked automatically.
