1. Create a Number Field
Entry point: Click the + button on the right side of the header → open the Field Type list → select Number
- Click the + button on the right side of the table header.
- In the field type list, select Number.
- Enter the field name.
- Click OK to finish creating the field.

- Interface result: A new number field column appears in the data table.
- What you can do next: You can enter values in the field or open field settings.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you do not choose the Number field type, the new field may not include number-format settings.
2. Set the Number Format
Entry point: Right-click the field header → Field Settings → Format
- Right-click the number field header.
- Select Field Settings.
- Find the Number Format option in the settings panel.
- Choose the format you need, such as integer or 1 to 9 decimal places.
- Click OK to save the setting.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: Values in the field are displayed in the selected format.
- What you can do next: You can continue entering or reviewing values in the field.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Changing the display format does not change the stored numeric value.
- Environment note: The number-format option appears only for number fields.
3. Set a Default Value
Entry point: Right-click the field header → Field Settings → Default Value
- Right-click the number field header.
- Select Field Settings.
- Find the Default Value option in the settings panel.
- Enter the preset numeric value.
- Save the setting and check the auto-filled result when you add a new record.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: New records show the preset value automatically in this field.
- What you can do next: You can still edit the auto-filled value for individual records.

- Common mistake: A default value usually applies to new records only and does not batch-update existing records.
4. Show the Thousands Separator
Entry point: Right-click the field header → Field Settings → Show Thousands Separator
- Right-click the number field header.
- Select Field Settings.
- Find the Show Thousands Separator option in the settings panel.
- Turn on Show Thousands Separator.
- Save the setting and review the display result.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: Large numbers are displayed with thousands separators.
