Tips While Using

  • If you do not see the Department type, confirm that you are working in a Smart Table data table.
  • Use a clear field name so later filtering and summaries are easier to manage.

2. Configure Field Settings

  1. Right-click the header of an existing Department field.
  2. Select Field Settings.
  3. Turn on Allow selecting multiple departments if one cell should store more than one department.

  2. In the department picker panel, browse the organization tree.
  3. Select the target department.

  • What you can do next: Filter, group, or summarize records by the Department field.

Tips While Using

  • If no departments are available, add or sync department data in the organization structure first.
  • When multiple selection is off, each cell can store only one department.
