1. Add a Creator Field

Entry: Click the + button on the right side of the header → open the field type list → select Creator

  1. Open the smart table.
  2. Click the + button on the right side of the header.
  3. Select Creator in the field type list.
  4. Enter a field name.
  5. Click Confirm to finish.

Success Criteria

  • A new Creator Field column appears in the table.
  • You can continue adding records and checking the column values.

Tips While Using

  • The Creator Field is filled by the system and cannot be edited manually.
  • Even admins cannot directly change recorded creator information.

2. Check automatic creator records

Entry: View the Creator Field column in a table where the field has already been added

  1. Add a new record or open an existing record in the table.
  2. Locate the Creator Field column.
  3. Check the creator information shown for each record.

Success Criteria

  • Each record shows its corresponding creator in the Creator Field.
  • You can continue to filter or group records by this field.

Tips While Using

  • The value is recorded by the system and cannot be overwritten in the cell.
  • Even if the field is not displayed, the system can still retain creator information.

3. Filter or group records by creator

Entry: Open the table filter or grouping feature → choose the Creator Field

  1. Open a table that includes the Creator Field.
  2. Open the filter or grouping feature.
  3. Choose Creator Field as the condition.
  4. View records for the current signed-in user or a selected member.

Success Criteria

  • The table displays or groups records by creator.
  • You can review personal data or count records by member.

Tips While Using

  • Using a condition such as creator contains the current signed-in user helps show personal records first.
  • You can combine grouping with creator information to review workload by person.
