1. Add a Word Cloud component to a dashboard
Entry point: Dashboard interface → “+ Add Component” → Charts → “Word Cloud”

2. Edit or export a Word Cloud chart
Entry point: Click an existing chart → the “...” icon in the upper-right corner
- Click the Word Cloud chart that has already been added.
- Click the “...” icon in the upper-right corner to open the drop-down menu.
- Select “Configure,” “Duplicate,” “Copy as Image,” “Export as Image,” or “Delete” as needed.
- If you export the chart, follow the on-screen prompts to finish the image output.
Success Criteria
- UI state: The drop-down menu opens and shows the available actions.
- Next actions: You can complete configuration changes, duplication, export, or deletion.
Tips While Using
- Common mistakes: If the chart is not selected first, the related action menu may not be easy to access.
3. Set chart type and data
Entry point: Word Cloud editing panel → “Type and Data” tab
- Open the Word Cloud editing panel and switch to the “Type and Data” tab.
- Select the data source you want to use.
- Click “Data Filter” to set the data range.
- Select the keyword field and adjust the counting method as needed.
- Set the display count, review the word frequency table, and choose which detail fields to show.
- Review the result in the preview pane on the left, then click “OK” to apply the settings.

- UI state: The preview area on the left updates as your settings change.
- Next actions: After you click “OK,” the Word Cloud in the dashboard updates with the new settings.

- Review the display result in the preview pane on the left.
