1. View Version History

Entry path: File tab at the top left (☰ icon) → History → Version History

  1. Open a smart document.
  2. Click the File tab at the top left with the ☰ icon.
  3. Click History, then select Version History.
  4. Expand the version panel to review the document's saved versions.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A version history panel appears in the side area or the related panel area.
  • Next action available: You can select a saved version for preview or further management.

Tips While Using

  • Open the smart document first so the related version history can load.
  • If the History entry does not appear, confirm that the file is a smart document and that your network connection is working normally.

2. Manage Saved Versions

Entry path: Version History panel → More

  1. In the version panel, find the version you want to work with.
  2. Click the More button for that version.
  3. Choose the action you need: Preview, Rename, Restore This Version, Save As, or Delete Version.
  4. Complete the action by following the on-screen prompts.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The action menu for the selected version opens successfully.
  • Next action available: You can complete preview, rename, restore, save as, or delete for that version.

Tips While Using

  • After you choose Restore This Version, the current document content rolls back to the selected version.
  • If you want to keep the current content, use Save As first to keep a separate copy of the historical version.
  • Before deleting a version, confirm that you no longer need it.
