FAQ
Why can't I see version history or collaboration records?
- Make sure the file you opened is a smart document.
- Confirm that your account has the required permission for that document.
- Open File, then History, then Version History again to check whether the entry is available.
- If it is still unavailable, check your network connection and reopen the document.
What happens to the current content after I restore an older version?
- Before restoring, decide whether you need to keep the current content.
- If you do, save or back up the current document first.
- After you choose Restore This Version, the document returns to the selected historical version.
- When the restore is complete, continue editing or save the result as a new file.
Can I keep historical versions for a long time?
- Rename important versions first so they are easier to identify later.
- If you need to keep a stage separately, use Save As to create a new file from that version.
- Review the version list regularly and keep the versions that still matter to your work.
