How-to Guide
1. View version history
Entry point: In the document editing screen, tap More (☰) in the upper-right corner, then tap Version History.
- Open the smart document you want to review.
- Tap the More button (☰) in the upper-right corner.
- Tap Version History.
- Review the list of saved versions and their modification times.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The version history list opens and shows available versions with timestamps.
- Next action available: You can tap a version to continue with preview or management actions.
Tips While Using
- You need editing permission for the document to view its version history.
- Keep your network connection stable while loading online document history.
2. Manage a historical version
Entry point: In the Version History panel, tap a target version or its More button.
- In the Version History panel, find the version you want to manage.
- Tap the version, or tap the More button on its right side.
- Choose the action you need: Preview, Rename, Restore this version, Save as, or Delete version.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to finish the action.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected action takes effect, such as opening preview, updating the version name, or restoring the document to the selected version.
- Next action available: You can continue editing the current document or use the saved copy as a new file.
Tips While Using
- Restoring a version replaces the current document content with the selected historical version, so back up important edits first if needed.
- After a version is deleted, it is no longer kept in the history list.
