1. Prepare before account deletion
Entry point: WPS Cloud Documents → Back up data
- Back up all WPS Cloud Documents to your local device in advance.
- Unlink any third-party accounts connected to this WPS account.
- Cancel membership auto-renewal.
- Confirm that no important unsaved data remains in the account.
Success Criteria
- UI state: The files and materials you still need are already saved locally.
- Next actions: You can continue to Personal Center and start the account deletion process.
- No side effects: Data already backed up locally is not affected before deletion.

2. Permanently delete the account
Entry point: WPS Home → Profile → Personal Center → Permanently Delete Account
- Click the profile icon at the top right of WPS.
- Open Personal Center.
- Find and click Permanently Delete Account at the bottom of the page.
- Review and select the deletion confirmation items.
- Click Confirm Cancellation.
- Complete the account deletion check to finish the process.
Success Criteria
- UI state: The system completes the account deletion check and enters the completed deletion state.
- Next actions: The current account no longer keeps its original data and benefits.
- No side effects: Data already backed up locally is not affected.
