How-to Guide
1. Add Underline
Entry: Tools → Home → Underline
- Select the cell or range where you want to add underline formatting.
- Tap Tools.
- Tap the Home tab.
- Tap the Underline button.
- The underline is applied after you tap it. Tap it again to remove the underline.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: text in the selected area shows an underline.
- You can continue: you can keep typing, editing, or saving the spreadsheet.
Tips While Using
- When you continue typing, newly entered text inherits the underline format.
- Removing underline uses the same action as adding it. Tap the button again to turn it off.
2. Change Underline Color
Entry: Tools → Home → extended option next to the Underline button
- Select the cell or range where you want to change the underline color.
- Tap Tools.
- Tap the Home tab.
- Tap the extended option next to the Underline button.
- Choose a color such as black, blue, or yellow.
- Tap to apply the change.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: the underline in the selected content appears in the chosen color.
- You can continue: you can keep adjusting other text formats or save the file.
Tips While Using
- The underline color follows the font color by default and cannot be set independently.
- It is recommended to confirm the selected range before changing the color.
