Why can’t I see the underline after I tap the button?
- Make sure the target cell or range is selected first.
- Check that you opened Tools > Home and tapped the Underline button.
- If the cell is empty, enter text first and then check the underline effect.
How do I remove an underline that has already been added?
- Select the cell or range that already has underline formatting.
- Open Tools > Home.
- Tap the Underline button again to remove it.
Why does newly entered text also appear underlined?
- This happens because the current input position inherits the existing text format.
- If you want to stop that behavior, tap the Underline button again to turn the format off.
- Then continue entering new content.
