FAQ

How do I remove an applied table style?

  1. Select the table range that already has the style applied.
  2. Open Tools → Home → Table Styles.
  3. Use the available clear-format option in the current interface, or apply another style to replace the existing one.

Can Table Styles and conditional formatting be used together?

  1. Apply a table style first if needed.
  2. Then add conditional formatting or other cell formatting.
  3. If the visual result overlaps, adjust the formatting order again based on the final display.

Why does only part of the table change after I apply a style?

  1. Check whether the entire table range is selected.
  2. Make sure the selection includes the header row, summary row, or the columns you want to emphasize.
  3. Select the complete range again and reapply the table style.
