FAQ

Why can’t I find the Shape entry?

  1. Make sure you are working in a WPS Spreadsheet worksheet.
  2. Check the Insert tab on the top ribbon.
  3. Look for the Shape button in that tab.
  4. If the layout looks different, enlarge the window or switch to a standard ribbon view.

Can I edit text inside a shape?

  1. Select the inserted shape first.
  2. Type directly inside the shape, or double-click the shape and enter text.
  3. Then adjust the shape appearance through formatting options.
  4. If needed, continue refining both the text and the shape style.

What should I do if the shape looks distorted after editing vertices?

  1. Select the shape again and reopen Edit Vertices.
  2. Drag the points one by one and watch the outline change.
  3. If the change is too large, undo the last action and edit again.
  4. It is usually easier to set the rough outline first and then refine the details.
