1. Set Print Titles

Feature path: Page tab → Print Titles

  1. Open the WPS spreadsheet file that you want to print.
  2. Click the Page tab at the top of the window.
  3. Click Print Titles.
  4. In the Page Setup dialog box, find Rows to repeat at top and Columns to repeat at left.
  5. Set the rows or columns you want to repeat as needed.
  6. Click OK to apply the settings.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The row or column references appear in the Page Setup dialog box.
  • Next action available: You can continue to Print Preview or print directly.
  • No side effect: The original worksheet data is not changed.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Opening the setting before confirming the target worksheet can apply the setup to the wrong sheet.
  • Environment note: To confirm the final result, check Print Preview or print a test page.

2. Select multiple rows or columns as repeated titles

Feature path: Page tab → Print Titles

  1. Open the Print Titles settings window.
  2. Click the selection icon next to Rows to repeat at top or Columns to repeat at left.
  3. Select the multiple rows or columns you want to repeat in the worksheet.
  4. For example, you can use a multi-row reference such as $1:$3 or a multi-column reference such as $A:$B.
  5. Return to the Page Setup window and confirm that the reference range is correct.
  6. Click OK to save the settings.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The input box shows a multi-row or multi-column reference range.
  • Next action available: Printing can repeat multiple title areas according to the selected range.

  • Common mistake: An incorrect reference range can make printed titles incomplete.

3. Clear Print Titles

Feature path: Page tab → Print Titles

  1. Click Print Titles on the Page tab.
  2. In the Page Setup dialog box, find Rows to repeat at top and Columns to repeat at left.
  3. Clear the existing row or column references.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Open Print Preview again to confirm that titles no longer repeat.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The title row and title column boxes are empty.
  • Next action available: Future printouts no longer repeat the previously selected title areas.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you clear only one field, the other repeated title setting will still remain active.
