Why is only the upper-left value kept after I merge cells?
- After cells are merged, only the content in the upper-left cell is kept.
- Content from the other selected cells is not retained in the merged result.
- If you need that content, organize or back it up before merging.
- If you just completed the action, use Undo right away.
Why can’t I merge non-adjacent cells?
- Merge Cells only works with adjacent cells.
- Select a continuous row, column, or rectangular area.
- Then run the merge action from Home or the floating toolbar.
Can splitting restore the original separate cells?
- Yes. Splitting a merged cell restores separate cells in that area.
- Tapping the merge option again to unmerge can also restore the original structure.
- Restoring the structure does not automatically restore overwritten content.
How to merge cells in WPS on iPhone without losing important data?
- Check every cell in the selected area before merging.
