1. Insert a page break
Entry path: Page → Insert Page Break → Insert Page Break
- Select the cell where you want the page break to appear.
- Click the Page tab at the top of the window.
- Click Insert Page Break.
- Select Insert Page Break.
- Based on the selected cell position, WPS inserts a page break above the cell, to the left of the cell, or in both directions.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: A manual page break line appears in the worksheet.
- What you can do next: You can continue to print preview or adjust other page break positions.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the selected position is not appropriate, the break line may appear in an unintended area.

2. Delete a page break
Entry path: Page → Insert Page Break → Delete Page Break / Reset All Page Breaks
- Select a cell next to the page break.
- Click Insert Page Break.
- Select Delete Page Break to remove the current manual page break.
- If you want to clear all manual page breaks at once, select Reset All Page Breaks.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The current break line disappears, or all manual break lines are cleared.
- What you can do next: You can insert new page breaks again and continue adjusting the print layout.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Choosing Reset All Page Breaks clears all manual page break settings in the current worksheet.
