When using Insert Icon, common questions usually involve asset access, insertion modes, and adjustment behavior; this FAQ includes 3 common questions and a short glossary.
FAQ
Why can’t I use some icons directly?
- Open the icon library and check whether the target icon has a membership mark.
- If it does, switch to a currently available basic icon or subscribe before using that asset.
- Tap the icon again and confirm that it has been inserted into the spreadsheet successfully.
What is the difference between Floating Picture and Cell Picture?
- With Floating Picture, the icon appears above the cell and can be dragged independently.
- With Cell Picture, the icon is embedded in the cell and adapts to the cell size.
- If you need freer layout control, use Floating Picture. If you want the icon to stay aligned with a cell, use Cell Picture.
Why is the inserted icon hard to move?
- First confirm whether the icon was inserted as a Floating Picture or a Cell Picture.
- If it is a cell picture, its position is constrained by the cell, so it behaves differently from a floating picture.
- If you need more flexible positioning, insert it again as a floating picture and then drag it.
