1. Insert an icon
Feature entry: Tools > Insert > Floating Picture / Embed to Cell > Icons
- Tap Tools at the bottom.
- Select the Insert tab.
- Tap Floating Picture or Embed to Cell, then switch to Icons.
- Browse the icon library categories, such as Featured, Basic Shapes, and Markers.
- Tap the icon you want.
- If you choose Floating Picture, the icon appears above the cells. If you choose Embed to Cell, the icon is placed inside the cell and displays with the cell.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected icon appears in the current worksheet.
- Next action available: You can continue moving, resizing, or editing the icon.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you do not switch to the Icons category first, you may still be on another image asset page.
- Membership note: Some icon assets are marked for members, so check the asset label before using them.
2. Adjust icon position and size
Feature entry: Select an inserted icon and drag it
- Tap the inserted icon to show the floating toolbar.
- Drag the icon to change its position in the spreadsheet.
- Drag the control handles on the icon border to resize it.
- Tap any blank area outside the icon to finish the adjustment.
- If the icon was inserted as an embedded cell picture, its display follows the cell and is affected by the cell size.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The icon position or size changes as expected.
- Next action available: You can continue editing the sheet or select the icon again for further adjustment.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the icon is not selected first, dragging may scroll the sheet instead.
