When using Insert Icon, common questions usually involve asset access, insertion mode, and adjustment behavior; this section includes 3 common questions and a glossary.
FAQ
Why can’t I use some icons directly?
- Open the icon library and check whether the target icon has a membership mark.
- If it does, sign in with a WPS account that has the required benefits.
- If you only need basic insertion, choose an icon asset without a membership mark.
What is the difference between Floating Picture and Embed to Cell?
- With Floating Picture, the icon appears above the cells and its position can be adjusted independently.
- With Embed to Cell, the icon is placed inside the cell and its display size adapts to the cell.
- Use Floating Picture for freer layout, and use Embed to Cell when the icon should display with cell content.
Why does the icon position seem unchanged when I adjust it?
- Make sure the icon is selected and that control handles or the floating toolbar are visible.
- If the icon was inserted as an embedded cell picture, it follows the cell instead of floating freely like a floating picture.
- Try adjusting the cell size, or insert the icon again as a floating picture.
