About This Feature

Overview

Calculation Options is a built-in quick summary feature in WPS Sheets on iOS. After you select cells or a range, you can turn on the summary bar to view Sum, Average, Maximum, Minimum, Count, Numerical Count, and Formula content at the top of the screen. You can also tap a result to copy it to the clipboard.

This feature is useful when you need to review spreadsheet values on mobile, check summary results quickly, or copy a calculated value without inserting a formula into a worksheet cell.

Capability SummaryIn WPS Sheets on iOS, after you select cells, you can turn on Show Sum/Count to view Sum, Average, Maximum, Minimum, Count, Numerical Count, and Formula, then tap a result to copy it.Excel for the web can show Average, Count, Numerical Count, Min, Max, and Sum on the status bar for selected cells, and users can customize which entries appear.Google Sheets on iPhone and iPad shows a row of calculations for selected cells, including Sum, Average, Maximum, Minimum, and Count, and lets you drag a calculation into a cell.Notion table views support calculations such as Sum, Average, Min, and Max for database columns, but the feature is designed for database properties rather than instant statistics for a selected spreadsheet range.Acrobat supports calculated PDF form fields such as sums and products for form workflows, but it is not a spreadsheet range summary feature.
WPS AdvantagesAdvantage: WPS combines multiple summary values behind one mobile toggle and also lets you tap a displayed result to copy it quickly.Compared with WPS: Excel provides a similar set of summary values, but the official page describes a status bar workflow rather than the same iOS in-sheet toggle and copy interaction.Compared with WPS: Google Sheets on iOS shows common calculations directly, but the official iOS page lists fewer summary types than the WPS feature page.Compared with WPS: Notion is stronger for structured database rollups, while WPS is more direct for quick statistics on a selected spreadsheet range.Compared with WPS: Acrobat is oriented toward PDF form calculation setup instead of everyday spreadsheet selection summaries.

Overall Conclusion
WPS Calculation Options fits mobile spreadsheet review well because it focuses on quick summaries for the current selection and fast copying of results. If your work is centered on database rollups or PDF form logic, Notion and Adobe are better aligned with those use cases.
