1. Create a Task List
Feature entry: Home tab → Task List
- Place the cursor where you want to insert the task list.
- Click Task List on the Home tab.
- After insertion, a task list checkbox is added to the document automatically.
- Type the task content to create a checkable task item.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: A task list checkbox appears at the cursor position.
- What you can do next: You can continue typing task content and add more task items.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the cursor is not placed in the target location first, the task list is inserted at the current cursor position.
- Environment note: In collaborative scenarios, keep the network connection active for sync updates.
2. Mark a Task as Complete
Feature entry: Checkbox in front of the task item
- Find the task item whose status you want to update.
- Click the checkbox in front of the task.
- After the item is checked, the text appears in light gray to show that the task is complete.
- To restore the unfinished state, click the checkbox again to clear it.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The checkbox state changes, and completed task text appears in light gray.
- What you can do next: You can continue switching the status of other task items.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Clicking the text area does not switch the checkbox state. Click the checkbox itself.
- Environment note: In a collaborative document, status changes sync to other collaborators.
