How-to Guide

1. Share partial pages from inside a document

Entry: Document > Share > Partial Pages

  1. Open the WPS Writer document that you want to share.
  2. Tap the Share button at the top of the document.
  3. Select Partial Pages.
  4. Set the page range you want to share, such as pages 2 through 5.
  5. Tap Extract and Send.
  6. Choose a sending method and complete the sharing process.
  7. The recipient can view only the selected pages after opening the shared content.

Success Criteria

  • The selected page range is set successfully and the sending flow opens.
  • The recipient sees only the selected pages.
  • Other pages in the original document are not included in this share.

Tips While Using

  • This feature requires WPS Premium.
  • Check the start and end page numbers carefully before sending.
  • A stable internet connection is helpful when sending a link.

2. Share partial pages from the Home document list

Entry: WPS Home document list > Share > Partial Pages

  1. Find the document you want to share on the WPS Home page.
  2. Tap the Share button next to the document.
  3. Select Partial Pages.
  4. Choose whether to turn on Convert file to cloud document for sending.
  5. If it is turned on, the file is uploaded automatically and sent as a cloud document link.
  6. If it is turned off, the selected pages are sent from the local document.
  7. Choose a sending method and complete the share.

Success Criteria

  • You enter the partial-page sharing flow from the Home document list.
  • You can choose either a cloud document link or a local-document sending method.
  • The recipient receives content that matches the selected sharing method.

Tips While Using

  • This feature requires WPS Premium.
  • If shared by link, the link may stop working if the document is deleted from cloud storage.
  • Sending as a cloud document requires an internet connection and an available account status.
