Last updated:July 12, 2026

This FAQ covers common questions about using Accept/Reject Changes on Android, including missing buttons, batch actions, and traditional-mode review.

FAQ

Why can’t I see the Accept or Reject button?

  1. Make sure you opened a Writer document that already contains tracked changes.
  2. Go to Tools > Review and turn on Show Revisions.
  3. Tap a specific revision and then check whether Accept or Reject appears.

What is the difference between Accept All Changes and accepting changes one by one?

  1. Accept All Changes processes every tracked revision in the document at once.
  2. Accepting changes one by one is better when you only want to keep some edits.
  3. If you still need to review each revision carefully, use one-by-one actions first.

When should I use traditional mode?

  1. Traditional mode is useful when you want to review revisions from a side list.
  2. After you turn on Traditional Mode for Comments and Revisions, you can select revisions from the right-side panel.
  3. This layout is helpful when a document contains many revisions.

What should I check before I reject all changes?

  1. Confirm that none of the tracked revisions should be kept.
  2. Rejecting all changes affects the entire set of revisions in the document.
  3. If you only want to remove some edits, reject revisions one by one instead.
