1. Open the meeting chat panel

Entry path: Meeting interface → bottom toolbar → Chat

  1. Join an active meeting.
  2. Click Chat on the bottom toolbar in the meeting window.
  3. Check the right side of the interface for the chat side panel.
  4. Confirm that the panel shows the Chat title and a close button at the top.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The chat side panel appears on the right side.
  • Next action available: You can review existing messages and prepare to type a new one.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: The meeting chat entry is not visible before you enter a meeting.
  • Environment note: A working network connection is required.

2. Send a meeting message

Entry path: Chat panel → input box → Send

  1. Open the meeting chat panel first.
  2. Type your message in the input box at the bottom of the panel.
  3. Click Send.
  4. Confirm that the new message appears in the chat area.
  5. Confirm that other participants can view the message in their own chat panels.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The new message appears in the chat area.
  • Next action available: You can continue sending messages or review replies from others.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Closing the panel before finishing the message.

3. Close the chat panel

Entry path: Chat panel → top close button (✕)

  1. Find the close button in the upper-right corner of the chat side panel.
  2. Click to close the panel.
  3. Return to the main meeting view.
  4. Click Chat again whenever you want to reopen the panel.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The right-side chat panel closes and the meeting view has more visible space.
  • Next action available: You can continue attending the meeting and reopen chat when needed.
