Can a new member who has not joined the group attend the group call?

  1. Group call invitations are intended for current group members.
  2. If the person has not joined the group yet, add them to the group first.
  3. After they join the group, start the meeting again or invite participants as needed.

Does the meeting initiator always become the host?

  1. After a group call starts, the initiator becomes the host by default.
  2. After entering the meeting interface, continue using the available meeting controls to manage participants.
  3. If host responsibility matters, it is a good idea for the actual organizer to start the meeting.

Why can’t I see the call or meeting button?

  1. Make sure you are currently in the target collaboration group chat window.
  2. Check whether the bottom toolbar is fully visible.
  3. If the entry is still missing, update to the latest WPS Office version and confirm that your network and collaboration features are working normally.
