1. Open the Import Calendar entry

Entry path: WPS Collaboration → Calendar → “...” → Import Calendar

  1. Open the WPS collaboration client.
  2. In the left navigation area on the home page, click Calendar.
  3. On the calendar page, click the ... more button in the upper-right area.
  4. Select Import Calendar from the drop-down menu.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The Import Calendar window or panel opens.
  • Next action available: You can see a file selection button or a drag-and-drop upload area.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you have not entered the calendar page first, the import entry may not be visible.
  • Environment note: Keep the network connection stable to avoid interruptions in later steps.

2. Choose an iCal file and import it into a target calendar

  1. Click Select File, or drag the file directly into the upload area.
  2. Select the iCal file that contains your schedule data.
  3. Wait while the system recognizes details such as date, time, and subject automatically.
  4. Choose the target calendar that should receive the imported events.
  5. Click Import to finish the batch creation process.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The system finishes recognition and lets you choose a target calendar.
  • Next action available: After you click Import, the events are written into the selected calendar.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you choose a file that is not an iCal file, recognition may fail.

3. Check the imported results and continue managing events

  1. After the import is complete, return to the target calendar.
  2. Check whether the imported events appear on the correct dates and times.
  3. Open any imported event and confirm that details such as subject and time are correct.
  4. Edit, move, or delete the related events as needed.
