1. Set Arrow Options from the right-click menu

Entry path: Right-click menu → Ink Tools → Arrow Options

  1. Start slideshow mode in WPS Presentation.
  2. Right-click the current slide.
  3. Click Ink Tools.
  4. Select Arrow Options.
  5. Choose the pointer state you want:
    • Automatic: The pointer appears when the mouse moves and hides when idle. Shortcut: Ctrl+U.
    • Visible: The mouse pointer stays visible.
    • Hidden: The mouse pointer stays hidden. Shortcut: Ctrl+H.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: You can open Arrow Options from the menu and switch to the target state.
  • Next action available: The slideshow continues normally, and mouse clicks can still be used for presentation actions.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you are not in slideshow mode, the presentation-specific menu entry will not appear.
  • Environment note: This feature is available only during slideshow playback.

2. Set Arrow Options from the bottom toolbar

Entry path: Bottom toolbar → More → Arrow Options

  1. Start slideshow mode in WPS Presentation.
  2. Move the mouse to show the bottom toolbar.
  3. Click More.
  4. Select Arrow Options.
  5. Choose the pointer state you want.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: You can open Arrow Options from the More menu on the bottom toolbar.
  • Next action available: The current slide remains in normal slideshow view after the setting is changed.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the mouse does not move, the bottom toolbar may stay hidden.
