1. Set Arrow Options from the right-click menu
Entry path: Right-click menu → Ink Tools → Arrow Options
- Start slideshow mode in WPS Presentation.
- Right-click the current slide.
- Click Ink Tools.
- Select Arrow Options.
- Choose the pointer state you want:
- Automatic: The pointer appears when the mouse moves and hides when idle. Shortcut: Ctrl+U.
- Visible: The mouse pointer stays visible.
- Hidden: The mouse pointer stays hidden. Shortcut: Ctrl+H.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: You can open Arrow Options from the menu and switch to the target state.
- Next action available: The slideshow continues normally, and mouse clicks can still be used for presentation actions.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you are not in slideshow mode, the presentation-specific menu entry will not appear.
- Environment note: This feature is available only during slideshow playback.
2. Set Arrow Options from the bottom toolbar
Entry path: Bottom toolbar → More → Arrow Options
- Start slideshow mode in WPS Presentation.
- Move the mouse to show the bottom toolbar.
- Click More.
- Select Arrow Options.
- Choose the pointer state you want.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: You can open Arrow Options from the More menu on the bottom toolbar.
- Next action available: The current slide remains in normal slideshow view after the setting is changed.
