What happens to the content after cells are merged?

  1. Select the adjacent cells that you want to merge.
  2. Run the Merge Cells command.
  3. After the merge is complete, the original text content is combined into the merged cell in order.

Can I undo a merged cell operation?

  1. After merging cells, press Ctrl+Z if you want to return to the previous state.
  2. If you made more edits after the merge, keep pressing Ctrl+Z step by step.
  3. After you return to the state before the merge, adjust the table again as needed.

Which cells cannot be merged?

  1. Check whether the selected cells are adjacent.
  2. Only continuously adjacent cells are suitable for a direct merge.
  3. Non-adjacent cells cannot be merged in one action.
