Merge/Split Cells

Merge/Split Cells helps you adjust table layouts by combining adjacent cells into one or dividing a single cell into multiple rows and columns. It provides the tools you need to create complex headers and special table formats more efficiently. With Merge/Split Cells, you can merge selected adjacent cells, keep all original text by concatenating it into the merged cell in order, split one cell by setting the target number of rows and columns, and complete either action through the standard table tools or a right-click method. Only adjacent cells can be merged, merged actions can be undone with Ctrl+Z, and split cell sizes are allocated automatically based on the original cell and chosen layout.
