Entry path:

  • Page tab → Header and Footer
  • Print Preview → Header and Footer
  1. Open the spreadsheet file that you want to print.
  2. Click Header and Footer on the Page tab.
  3. Or open Print Preview first, then click Header and Footer.
  4. After the editing mode opens, you can start inserting or changing content.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: Header and Footer editing mode is open.
  • Next action available: You can continue with preset styles or custom content.

Tips While Using

  • The standard editing view does not show the final print result clearly, so it is recommended to check in Print Preview.

Entry path: Header and Footer toolbar

  1. Enter Header and Footer editing mode first.
  2. Click the Header or Footer drop-down button.
  3. Select a preset style such as page number, date, or file name.
  4. Turn on Different Odd and Even Pages or Different First Page if needed.
  5. Confirm that the preset content appears in the target area.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The selected preset content appears in the header or footer area.
  • Next action available: You can continue adjusting page settings and review the result in Print Preview.

Tips While Using

  • Before choosing a preset, confirm what information should appear on the printed page to avoid duplicate content.

  1. Enter Header and Footer editing mode.
  2. Double-click the header or footer preview area, or click Custom Header/Footer.
  3. Choose the left, center, or right section that you want to edit.
  4. Enter custom text.
  5. Insert pictures, page numbers, time, or total page count as needed.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The custom content appears in the selected section.
  • Next action available: You can save the file or open Print Preview to check the result.

Tips While Using

  • When inserting multiple elements, plan the left, center, and right sections first so the printed page does not look crowded.
