1. Highlight Duplicates

Feature path: Data tab → Duplicates → Set Highlight Duplicates

  1. Select the cell range you want to check.
  2. Click the Duplicates drop-down menu on the Data tab.
  3. Select Set Highlight Duplicates.
  4. Review the duplicate data shown with a red background.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: Duplicate content in the selected range is visibly marked.
  • What you can do next: You can continue reviewing, editing, or removing duplicate data.

2. Clear Highlight Duplicates

Feature path: Data tab → Duplicates → Clear Highlight Duplicates

  1. Select the range where duplicate highlighting has been applied.
  2. Click the Duplicates drop-down menu on the Data tab.
  3. Select Clear Highlight Duplicates.
  4. Confirm that the duplicate marks are removed from the worksheet.
