1. Highlight Duplicates

Entry: Data → Duplicates → Highlight Duplicates

  1. Select the cell range where you want to check repeated values.
  2. Click the Duplicates button on the Data tab.
  3. Select Highlight Duplicates.
  4. Choose a color in the dialog box.
  5. Review the cells that are filled with the selected color.

Success Criteria

  • On-screen result: Cells with repeated values are marked with the selected color.

2. Remove Duplicates

Entry: Data → Duplicates → Remove Duplicates

  3. In the dialog box, select the columns used to determine duplicates.
  4. Click OK to run the cleanup.
  5. Review the result message and confirm how many duplicate records were removed.
