1. Insert a Dropdown List

Entry: Data → Dropdown List

  1. Select the target cell or cell range where you want to add a dropdown list.
  2. Click Dropdown List on the Data tab.

2. Create a Dropdown List Through Data Validation

Entry: Data → Validation → List

  5. In the Source box, enter the dropdown options and separate multiple items with commas.
  6. Select the option that provides a dropdown arrow in the cell.
